It’s quiet here with my two big guys gone. Things seem calmer and the house seems to be staying neater, but the quiet denotes that something is different, and not quite right. Dave and Noah have been in India a few days now and they have visited a few touristy sites and an orphanage. Noah is getting to speak to the orphans and his talk is on 1 Timothy 4:12. “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers. In speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”

These kids may be orphans, but by the grace of God they are being raised as Christians in a world full of idols. The Hindu religion has a god for everything and if you leave the family faith, you are often disowned. By being orphans, they have nothing to loose by loving Jesus and are thereby free to be sold out for him. Thank you Lord, for taking heartbreak and turning it to healing, as you always want to!
